A day at the beach is not complete without the perfect cover-up. Yes, you must have a nice bathing suit. We all know these are a must. However, so is the perfect cover-up to wear along with that perfect bathing suit. Most women will agree that don't want to walk from the changing room to the beach itself in just a bathing suit. Most women are also too modest to walk to the snack bar in just their bathing suits. This is why cover-ups are essential part of the beach attire. Yet, which cover-ups will work for your body type and your curves?
Apple Shaped Bodies:
If you have an apple shape body you should really think about a cover-up that will call attention to your legs. An example of this could be a cute and sporty hoodie with elongated stripes. You may also want to try a cute knee-length skirt or a simple tunic. When looking for a cover-up you should think about something that will slim on coverage and will draw attention down your body.
PlusĀ Sized Bodies:
If you body is more on the plus sized, consider a cover-up that is a bit on the flowy side. Look for one that doesn't cling, yet may emphasized a small waist line. To assure that your cover-up has the perfect fit consider getting one that includes ties and adjustable belts.
Boy-Shaped
If you consider your body to be more on the boy shaped side, consider a cover-up such as a bottom down shirt that you can tie up and adjust the amount of cleavage you decide to show. When looking for a cover-up look for one that accentuates your torso and your bust, as well as one that can add curves to your look. Some you may want to consider are above the knee skirts and dresses with shorter hems.
Most of all choose a cover-up that you like and feel good wearing. If you follow these tips, you will have a great day at the beach, knowing you look good.

Post a CommentI crocheted a beach skirt that looks nice. I don't mind walking around with my bathing suit top on, just want to have full fanny coverage when I go into a store!
Terrific tips!
Cute ideas. I love the idea of a long hoodie, especially at the end of the day when it starts to get chilly at the beach.
This is great... :o)
great
Great writing! :]
The perfect cover-up is not going to the beach. I can't stand to see all the beautiful bodies there that I USED TO look like!
If I ever get to the beach (!) before summer ends, my cover-up is my best friend! LOL cheers ;)
