Best Dad - Father's Day Poem

Your heart is second to none

A Father's Day poem seems so weak, Dad
To sum up how tough you are
You chased off monsters and kept me in line
Your courage was never too far

A Father's Day poem seems stupid, Dad
When I remember how much you know
Whether helping with homework or my path in life
You know the road I should go

A Father's Day poem seems so wrong, Dad
When I think of you, morally right

Be good always, day and night

Being the best dad is what you've done
And since I'm a parent now, too
I'll teach my kid all the best things in life
All the stuff that I learned from you
