Best Dining at Walt Disney's EPCOT

EPCOT may not have the most thrilling rides of any theme park in Orlando, Florida, but it may very well offer the best dining. In fact, you can enjoy dining experiences around the globe at EPCOT's World Showcase. That's right. You can dine in Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, Canada, even the good old U.S.A. If that's not enough, you can also dine in an aquarium. Here is a guide to the best dining at Walt Disney World's EPCOT.

Let's start with that aquarium mentioned above. If you want to dine in a truly unique setting, the Coral Reef Restaurant may be for you. The Coral Reef Restaurant is a full-service restaurant that offers scrumptious seafood, steaks, and a whole host of other delicious menu items. Prices are a bit steep at the Coral Reef Restaurant, but the service is typical of Disney (a very good thing) and the atmosphere is, of course, unlike any other. The Coral Reef Restaurant is located at The Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion (formerly The Living Seas) in Future World.

Next, let's travel to Europe. To Italy, where you can dine indoors or outdoors at the fabulous L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante. This Italian gem offers pasta dishes and other spectacular Italian specialties. Prices are fairly reasonable; entrees range from about $15 to $25, and everything on the menu is excellent. Service is outstanding, but as with most restaurants in EPCOT's World Showcase, it may take quite some time to score a table, so head over to Italy before you get hungry and give your name to the host or hostess.

Next up, France. France offers two wonderful dining experiences. Bistro de Paris is an elegant French bistro offering gourmet French cuisine. Sure, it's in France, but be sure to bring your American Express. If you are looking to spend a little less, Chefs de France is an excellent alternative. Chefs de France offers escargot, salads, beef, terrific desserts, and of course, a wonderful selection of French wines.

In Japan, you can dine on some truly magnificent sushi at Tempura Kiku. Or, for a wonderfully authentic Japanese experience, head over to Teppanyaki Dining Rooms, where chicken, steak, and seafood is cooked right before your eyes. If you love Chinese food (who doesn't?), check out Nine Dragons Restaurant in the China pavilion nearby.

If you are looking to have a great time while imbibing on beer or spirits, you can choose between the United Kingdom and Germany. At the United Kingdom (not to be confused with the Magic Kingdom or the Animal Kingdom), you can enjoy a pint (or a yard!) at Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room, while dining on fish and chips or steaks. In Germany, it's Oktoberfest all year round at the Biergarten Restaurant.

Finally, in Canada, if you are seeking a mouth-watering cut of steak, check out Le Cellier Steakhouse. Le Cellier Steakhouse offers delicious steaks, pasta and seafood, all in the tradition of our kind neighbor to the north.
