If your daughter wants to feel like a princess on her first day back to school, it would be wise to invest in a beautiful, great quality Disney princess backpack! These may not be as low priced as a practical, plain backpack that could run under ten dollars, but the smile on your daughter's face and the pride she'll take with her to school as she shows off her new Disney princess backpack will be more than worth it. So if you're ready to buy your daughter a new Disney Princess backpack, there are several options to choose from. First it would be a good idea to find out if your daughter has a favorite Disney princess. Also, keep your daughter's scholastic needs in mind. How many books is she going to be carrying around? Will she have a lunchbox? The Disney Princess backpack must be durable, practical, and of course magical for your little Back-To-School princess!

If you are looking at the lower end of the budget spectrum, Wal-Mart has a great Disney Princess Backpack featuring not only Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Cinderella, and Arielle, but the new Princess as well as Princess Tiana from the Princess and the Frog for $10.00. This Disney Princess Backpack has a dual-sipper top-loading main compartment, and a single zipper top-loading secondary compartment with mesh side pockets and adjustable straps. Most reviews gave it 4-5 stars, stating that their children loved the backpack, but it is a bit on the small side so it would be suited for light use or smaller children.

Right now, Toys R'Us has a Disney Princess Backpack for your Back-To-School Princess called "Dream a Princess Dream", and of course it comes in Pink. This backpack has adjustable, padded shoulder straps and is very roomy for all your daughter's notes and notebooks. It does have a locker loop for easy storage in a locker space. This Disney Princess backpack is made with durable fabric and is decorated with the main princesses as well as the new Disney princess, Princess Tiana. The "Dream a Princess" Disney Backpack from Toys R' Us is $14.99. It is recommended for girls 3-6 years old, and has a two zippered compartment with an organizer and two side flap pockets that are ideal for carrying school supplies and comfort.

JCPenny has a fabulous Disney Princess backpack that features all of the 7 Disney Princesses, has padded, adjustable shoulder straps, and a hanging loop for neat and easy storage. This backpack is called the Disney Princess Heart Backpack, and it's original price is $29.99, but right now JCPenny is selling it for $14.99. The backpack boasts lots of useful exterior compartments, and the main color is pink, but with light blue and purple detailing. The exterior compartment is heart shaped, which makes it stand out from other standards Disney Princess backpacks. There are side pockets on either side of this Disney Princess backpack that are roomy enough for drinks or other random supplies.

Disneystore.com has a Personalized Disney Princess Backpack that is running for $15.00. The original prince is$19.50, and you can have this Disney Princess backpack personalized for 4.95. This backpack is mostly pink, with a screen printed personalization on the back of backpack which can go up to 10 characters, including spaces. It says "Perfect for a Princess" in embroidered art, and features Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella with glitter accents. The Disney Princess boasts an exterior zipper pocket, interior mesh pocket, side mesh pockets, and a top canvas tab, with adjustable padded straps and back for superior comfort. Also, the inside of the Disney Backpack reads" This belongs To" to ensure that everyone knows which princess this Disney Princess backpack belongs to. If your daughter is interested in a singular princess or not necessarily into pink, there are backpacks out there that can be appealing such as Disneystore.com's Personalized Ariel Backpack, which is just like the latter except it features Ariel and Flounder on the outer zippered compartment and the color scheme is a modest teal and purple contrast.
