Dog parks are becoming more and more popular among big cities. Dog parks are places designated to allowing off leash play time for social dogs. This time gives owners and chance to let their dogs run free in an otherwise busy and dangerous play, such as a large city. Here a dog can socialize with others, play ball, swim, run, jump and dig. Originally popular in huge cities like New York and L.A., dog parks have begun to catch on in other cities as well. Cincinnati, Ohio happens to be one of those lucky cities.

Anderson Dog Park located in the city is an example of one of these great places. Boasting a five acre lot comprised of benches, ponds, woods and fields, this park gives any dog plenty of space to run and play. Surrounded by 8 foot high fences, safety is not a worry here. This off leash dog park is just what a dog needs after spending a long day inside.

Bark Park at Miami Meadows is a park located just outside the city in Milford Ohio. This park features not only a fenced in area complete with doggy drinking fountain, but is also a great human park as well. Complete with football, soccer and baseball fields, owners can rest assure their dog is happy running around in the enclosed "dog" area while they themselves can get some much needed exercise.

Kenton Paw Dog Park is located south of the city. This park features two parks in one place. Each part is open from dawn until dusk and includes fresh water, double gated entrance for safety, benches and wooded trails for both dogs and owners to enjoy.

No matter where you live, dog parks can always be an excellent way to exercise your pooch. Nothing beats the feeling of letting your dog run free. Dog parks are a great way to burn up some of that cooped up energy, and ensuring a good night's sleep for both you and your dog.
