Every year I wake up at 4 am on the Friday after Thanksgiving to go shopping with my Mom, her sisters, and my grandmother. We all sit down the night before and go through the advertisements that have been sent out with sales for Black Friday. When we set out that morning we have plans to visit several stores, with high hopes of coming home that night with exciting finds at great prices. While there are many great sales to look for on Black Friday, I tend to seek out the electronic devices first. Every year I buy at least one piece of electronic equipment, because I simply cannot resist the deals and the ability to save so much money! Here are 5 of the best electronics sales to look for on Black Friday:

1- Digital Camera

I seriously buy at least one digital camera almost every year on Black Friday. No not just for myself, but as gifts for other people. I know you are thinking that I am crazy because digital cameras are so expensive, right? Well that is exactly why I buy them on Black Friday. On the day after Thanksgiving you can find nice digital cameras for under $100. Of course they offer some for higher prices, but those are the extremely nice ones, and if that is what you are looking for, you can still get a great deal.

2- GPS

I have bought a GPS on Black Friday for the past two years, and they have each been amazing deals. I got my TomTom GPS in 2007 for $100 after the mail in rebate. Last year I got a GPS for my boyfriend for $100 that originally cost $250. $150 savings because of the sale on Black Friday- now tell me that's not worth getting up at 4 am to find!

3- Video Game Systems

Video games and video game systems are another great buy on Black Friday. You can find awesome prices on these items in several different stores. If you know someone who is dying for the Wii, or Xbox 360, or some other type of game system, the day after Thanksgiving is a great time to buy it for them, or let them know about the sale!

4- Laptop

Laptops go very quickly on Black Friday, so if you are in search of one, I recommend getting to the store as early as possible. It is definitely worth waking up for, though, because stores offer laptops at incredible prices on the day after Thanksgiving. You can save hundreds of dollars when you buy a laptop, or a laptop and printer.

5- Television

TVs are another great item to shop for on Black Friday. You can get a nice flat screen for a great price, and it will definitely make you happy when you are sitting down watching your shows on your new TV.
