Actress Emma Watson has made her career off playing "Hermione Granger" in the Harry Potter movies. So naturally, it follows that her best movie quotes would come from these movies. What stands out the most to me, while looking back at her past movies, is her ability to be sarcastic and a tad stuck-up yet remain likable. The following quotes are some examples of those moments:
Hermione Granger: " -- you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon." This quote was said to Ron Weasley. Ron Weasley is played by actor Rupert Grint. Much of the humor in the movies comes from the sarcastic relationship between Emma Watson's and Rupert Grint's characters.
Ron Weasley: "Hermione, you are honestly the most wonderful person I have ever met. If I'm ever rude to you -- " Finishing his sentence, Hermione Granger: "I'll know you've gone back to normal." This dialogue between Emma Watson and Rupert Grint is an example of the nature of their relationship.
Another humorous example of their relationship comes when Emma Watson's character question's Rupert Grint's character on why he doesn't want to wear a certain outfit. In reply, Ron Weasley: "Cause I'll look like a bloody idiot. That's why." Responding, Hermoine Granger: "No more than usual."
Hermione Granger: "He's been poisoned, you daft dimbo!" She has a great delivery of this quote.
Hermione Granger: "Actually I'm highly logical which allows me to look past extraneous detail and perceive clearly that which others overlook." This movie quote is more on the stuck-up side, but it always sounds good coming from Emma Watson.
Hermione Granger: "Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself." This quote was referring to Harry Potter saying Voldemort's name. Besides the sarcastic and stuck-up quotes, Emma Watson is also able to say a quote and make it seem more wise than it actually is.
The best quotes to me are still those between her and Rupert Grint. Ron Weasley: "A cat? Is that what they told you? It looks more like a pig with hair if you ask me." In reply, Hermione Granger: "That's rich, coming from the owner of that smelly old shoe brush. It's alright, Crookshanks. Just ignore the mean little boy."
