Best Ethnic Markets in Kansas City's River Market District

Although known for its' railroads, the stockyards, the sports and skyscrapers, the history of Kansas City began along the banks of the mighty Missouri River. In what is now called the River Market area of KC, the historic City Market still offers many shopping opportunities. Today's City Market is built on the site of the original which opened in 1858.
