Best Evening Bags for a Night Out Dancing

Malina Debrie
When planning a night out on the town, what are the best evening bags a woman should consider carrying? When dating or going out for a night of dancing, do you often have problems worrying about what to do with your purse when you head out to the dance floor?

Most women have an issue determining what to do with their purse while dancing. Do you wear a large bulky bag on your shoulder? Do you hold a small evening bag in your hands? Do you ask someone to watch your purse who is sitting at the table with you? Or maybe you leave your purse in the car. What about asking the bartender to place it behind the counter while you dance? Or maybe you check your purse when you check your coat?

These are all options, however unreasonable or daring, they are options. Some might find you without a purse when you return to your table. Or, if you check your purse with your coat, you might find your purse, but any valuables might not be with it. Or, if you leave it behind the counter with the bartender, whose to say the bartender will be the same one you left it with when you return.

The best option is to keep your purse with you when dancing. To do this, you need a purse that will stay out of the way while performing any of the dance moves you feel comfortable with depending on the music being played. Whatever the attire, when out dancing, the best evening bags to carry when going out dancing should be selected from one of the types listed below:

Hanging or Handle Evening Bags

A purse that hangs from the shoulder or can be held in one hand without causing any problem to your mate or your mate holding you is perfect while dancing. If the purse is small enough, wear it on your shoulder allowing it to hang. The fact that it is small will make it almost impossible to move or obstruct your movements while dancing. You can keep your makeup, a small comb and even tissue in a small evening bag. There is no need to leave everything at home when going out for a night of romance because you feel you do not have a place to leave your personal items.

Perfect Little Black Evening Bag

The little black evening bag is always the perfect choice when going out for a night on the the town. With the black evening clutch, you can never go wrong. And especially perfect is the black bag when dancing. The round black bag can be hung daintily over your shoulder while dancing or it can be loosely hung along your side. Even in some situations, with just the right dress and a gorgeous brooch, these litle black purses can be used to accentuate a small waist or to elongate the waistline and enhance a simple black dress. Never before has evening wear been more versatile. Instead of risking your black bag and all of your debit or credit cards, money or even your makeup, make sure you take along a small black clutch that can be carried along with you or worn while on the dance floor.

There is no set rule when wearing or enjoying fashion today. The one major rule is have fun and be classy while wearing fashion. Make sure you portray all your feminine wile yet remember that you are a female and remember to keep your family jewels private and just that, "the family jewels."

I have several but my husband doesn't dance. Reading your article makes me wish for the years before DH and the weekends I danced away!

The last time I was out 'dancing' was new year's eve 1998 and that was probably the last time I wore heels and a 'dress-up' dress!
