Best Fantasy Basketball Players for 2010-11

The start of the 2010 NBA season is less than two months away, meaning its time for managers to start thinking about the upcoming fantasy basketball draft.

Preseason games tip off October 2, with the regular season set to begin on Tuesday, October 26 with three games - Miami at Boston, Phoenix at Portland and Houston at the Los Angeles Lakers.

LeBron James relocating to Miami dents his value as the top overall fantasy player in the game, if only because he's now surrounded by All-Star-caliber players (Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh) who will get a piece of that statistical pie James enjoyed mostly to himself in Cleveland.

We'll have to keep an eye on James' production throughout the preseason before making a final call on where to draft him, but for now, I'm placing Kevin Durant and Chris Paul ahead of LeBron.

I'll update my rankings throughout the preseason leading up to the 2010 fantasy draft.
