Best Father's Day Presents 2009

Zoe
With Father's Day around the corner, it is important that you get a great gift for your dad. No matter what it is, if it's from the heart I'm sure he'll love it! Here are some things that I think would be great gifts for your father:

1. Personalized Card/ Book

There are a lot of software programs that allow you to customize greeting cards. You can attach pictures of your dad and your family. There are also programs that let you create picture books, you choose the pictures and design the book in the program, then you pay a reasonable price, and they send the book to you. When making picture books, I personally use shutterfly.com, it's great! They ship fast, and they make the process of creating a photo book very simple.

2. Trip

You could plan a trip/family outing for fathers day. For example, you could give him tickets for a sporting event that you could go to together, or plan an outdoor trip like camping, hunting, or fishing for your entire family.

3. Gift Certificates / Cards

This may sound really cliche, but gift certificates/ cards are great gifts. You could give him a gift certificate/ card to his favorite restaurant and your whole family could eat together at the restaurant. You could also give him a certificate to his favorite store, and plan a shopping trip for you and him.

4. Prepaid Visa Card

My favorite gift card is the customized Visa prepaid card. You can upload your favorite photo with your dad to be displayed on the front of the card, and you are able to put up to $250 on the card. This will allow your father to spend the money as he wants yet you can still add your personal touch. To get this card go to: www.giftcards.com.

5. Painting

If you go to www.paintyourlife.com and send them a picture, they will paint it for you. All the paintings are 100% handmade and it would be a great gift for your dad, he could hang the painting in his office or study and light up whenever he looks at it.
