Whether you have been dating your boyfriend forever or have just met a special someone and fallen in love, Valentine's day holds special meaning for the both of you. Celebrate your love by showering your sweetheart with a memorable gift or memento. Depending on your budget, time and creativity, anything from fancy chocolates to a lovely card will fit the bill nicely. Here are the top five Valentine's day gifts for your boyfriend:

Electronic Gadgets
Do you know any man who doesn't love gadgets? Smart phones, especially the iPhone, are the craze these days. If you are in the mood to splurge this Valentine's Day, and if he doesn't already own one, this would be the ultimate gadget for your boyfriend. The Amazon Kindle, a wireless reading device, is another excellent valentine's gift idea for the guy who loves to read.

Pamper him
Let's face it, we all live busy lives. Who has time to plan a meal, let alone cook a fancy dinner? This Valentine's dayt, surprise him with a romantic candlelight dinner for two in the comforts of your own home. With a little planning and improvising, you can make a wonderful home-cooked meal (look up Rachel Ray or Sandra Lee for inspiration.) After dinner, pamper him with a session of intimate massage. What happens after that is up to you and your imagination.

Tools and spice rub for the Barbecue
For some guys, cooking on the grill outside is a way to get out of the house and unwind with friends. For others, it is the smell and taste of barbecue meat that gets them searching for the perfect technique, recipe or sauce. If your guy is a barbecue fanatic, he would appreciate some nice spice and rub for his next grilling event. Also, grilling equipment, accessories or cookbooks are excellent valentine's gifts.

Tickets to an event (sports or music)
Whether it is college or professional sports, men go crazy for their favorite sports team. Tickets to his favorite sports event would make a perfect Valentine's gift. Alternatively, you may get tickets to a music concert of his favorite musician if your boyfriend is more of a music buff. Either way, your boyfriend will thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Romantic Getaway
Perhaps the best valentine's gift for your boyfriend is a romantic getaway. Whisk him away for a day or a weekend in the mountains, at the beach or somewhere in between. There's nothing like a change of scenery to rekindle your love or create sparks between you to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Happy Valentine's Day!
