Best Floor Cleaner in the World - My Little Scooba Named Alice

The scooba is a robotic floor cleaner that is fantastic, we named her Alice. I have a lot of back problems and this little cleaner has been a life saver Sweeping and mopping use to leave me in agony but since I purchased the scooba, I have nice clean shinny floors.

With the scooba you don't have to sweep the floors before cleaning. The scooba does the sweeping for you. First the scooba vacuums the floor, I and the manufacturer suggest that you pick up large particles off the floor as you would before vacuuming the floor, The scooba then starts to put down the cleaning and water mixture. At the same time the scooba is putting down the solution and scrubbing the floor, it is sucking up the dirty water. Thus, leaving you with a clean shiny floor.

It is so easy to use, even a child could use it. The scooba uses Clorox floor cleaner and comes with a measuring cup, so you know exactly how much cleaner to use. After filling the cup to the mark with cleaner, you fill the scooba the rest of the way with hot water. You will then place the tank back onto the scooba and press clean. The scooba does the work for you so that you can watch tv, read a book, do other chores or just take a nap

If you don't want the scooba to go into other rooms or areas then you will need the virtual wall. My scooba came with one virtual wall. The virtual wall is just what it sound like. It is a small box that has batteries in it. You put the virtual wall where you don't want the scooba to go, turn it on and when the scooba gets near it, it will sense it and turn away. The virtual wall has settings so that you can adjust how wide of an area it is to protect. If your kitchen or other room is like mine, I have two entrances to my kitchen and only one virtual wall. To get around this, I just sit a semi-heavy object in scooba's way and it bumps into the object and then moves on. This method works out wonderful and saves money on buying another virtual wall.

Cleaning the scooba is extremely easy and takes only a couple of minutes. Empty the dirty water tank and rinse. Rinse out the filter and intake, this takes only a couple of seconds, and that is it.

Using the scooba makes floor cleaning so simple and easy that it is almost fun. It's not noisy and does an excellent job. This small investment has saved me a lot of pain and given me nice clean floors.
