This is an organization that exists to teach and inform the public about fly-fishing and to promote the sport. Their meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at the Idaho Department of Fish & Game Headquarters building located at 600 Walnut Street in Boise. They have various activities and usually an educational or fun film of some recent trips. Anyone interested in fly-fishing should join for the camaraderie and the learning. They plan many trips together during the year, too. A family membership is only $30 for the year. Row Adventures is a outfitter that offers fishing on the Clearwater River, which was designated by Congress in 1968 as one of 8 wild rivers in the country. These are recognized because of water quality, wilderness and resources values. Both 1-day and multi-day trips can be arranged with them.
