A small distance from the strip is old Vegas, located on Fremont Street. The Fremont Street experience is something every visitor to Las Vegas should take in. There are beautiful lights and a massive, record holding television screen that covers the entire street. At night the lights come alive with an animated show. Once you take in the show, be sure to stop off at Binions coffee shop for a quick bite to eat. The prices at this place are unbelievable. Their daily specials include a $12 New York strip dinner and $8 half BBQ chicken. They are open 24 hours a day, but at night they are very busy, especially after the light show on Fremont Street.

If you prefer a quick snack rather than a sit down dinner than head over to Slots of Fun. Slots of Fun is famous for a huge selection of slot machines, lower priced table games and a .99 cent half pound hot dog. This thing is a foot long and could easily feed two people. Wash down your giant hot dog with a .75 cent frozen margarita.
