LocalSchoolDirectory.com offers a range of free homeschool lesson plans, organized by grade level, as well as by subject. Parents and homeschool teachers can decide which way they'd like to browse the lesson plans. This website is great for a supplemental resource. In addition to the free homeschool lesson plans, Local School Directory also has articles and information on schools.

Internet4Classrooms is packed full of free K-12 games, free lesson plans, free activities, and other free resources for supplemental learning throughout the school year. The huge lists of linked resources can be accessed by grade level or subject. All resources linked to are free.

Find lesson plans, printables, and much more at Teacher Vision. Parents and teachers can subscribe to the free newsletter for tons of free resources. In addition, there is a large library of free printables, worksheets, lesson plans, and resources available on the site for varied grade levels and subjects.

Split into different levels and sections, according to skill level, Starfall breaks down the reading process and makes it fun with free interactive lessons, games, and activities.

Known as an excellent resource for books, Scholastic.com also is a wonderful teacher resource tool. At Scholastic, there are free printables, crafts, worksheets, lesson plans, and even holiday content. For instnace, the Christmas education section includes Christmas carols. There also are mini books that can be printed out.
