Angela W. La Fon
Many parents that swore they wouldn't let their preschooler touch their iPhone, soon make a different call. Parents often find that an iPhone app can help entertain young children sitting in a shopping cart, or in the longest grocery line ever.

Lawrence, a Dad of two, says phone apps for kids are perfect for the doctor's office waiting room where "you really don't want your kids to touch the doctor's office toys that all of the sick kids have played with."

Many Moms and Dads say they don't mind paying a small free, around .99 cents to $3.99 for the best iPhone apps for kids that can both entertain and education.

On Parenting.com's interactive website fee iPhone apps for kids like The Pianist, which downloads for $3.99, were shared on facebook and retweeted to twitter almost the same number of times popular free iPhone apps like Scribble were shared and tweeted. While price doesn't seem to be a deterrent for all parents others still wonder, are there any worthy free iPhone apps for kids?
