Best Free Printable Christmas Cards on the Web

There are many sites online that offer free printable Christmas cards. However, only a handful of sites have the best cards. These free Christmas card websites require that you have Adobe Reader or Flash Player to customize, view and print your cards. Here are some of the best free card websites that permit you to create a print your card without registering for an account.

HP.com

HP.com has an online card maker that allows you to create and print free cards using your personal photographs. The Christmas cards include Disney cards, a Victorian tree card as well as cards with snowmen, penguins, Santas, angels and reindeer. Select the "Season's Greetings and Christmas" category, then check the box beside "Free" to see the list of free HP card projects. Choose the image of the card you'd like to print. Select "Personalize Message" to type a text message on the inside of the Christmas card. Then click "Import Photos," the "Upload more photos" and browse the Pictures folder on your hard drive to add photos. Select "Preview and Print" in the upper right hand corner of the page to print your card.

Xerox.com

The Xerox website has free printable Christmas cards in both English and French. The cards in DOC format can be opened in OpenOffice.org or Microsoft Word. The cards include images of kids building a snowman, eggnog and cookies, Christmas decorations, presents, candles and toys. There are certain cards you can personalize with your own message, such as the "Note Card" and the "Premium Card" which appear under several of the different Christmas card designs lower down on the page. To print a Christmas card on the Xerox website, select the link above the thumbnail image of the card you want. Then click the "Print" icon in the upper left hand side of the page.

FamilyFun.com

Disney's FamilyFun.com has several free printable Christmas cards. They include thank you cards, photo cards and place cards. One of the best Christmas cards on the Family Fun site is this pop-up Christmas card. It comes with complete instructions on how to cut the card so that the Christmas tree pops up.

GreetingsIsland.com

GreetingsIsland.com has several dozen free customizable and printable Christmas cards. The designs on the cards include Santas, snowmen, cats, dogs, Christmas trees and elves. You can personalize your card with photos, stamps and text. When the Christmas card looks the way you want it, click "Print" at the bottom of the page.

GotFreeCards.com

GotFreeCards.com has many free Christmas cards with designs such as Santas, candy canes, snowmen, reindeer and coloring page cards. Click on the thumbnail of the card you like to customize your Christmas card. You can add stickers, text and photos to either the front or the inside of the Christmas card. You can also change the message that comes with the inside of the card. When you're finished personalizing your card, select whether you want to print it one sided or front and back.
