My 2009 Chevrolet Impala is my all-time favorite car - and Greg Bell Chevrolet-Cadillac in Adrian, Michigan made the new car buying experience the easiest ever. I purchased the vehicle brand new one year ago, in August 2009. Trading in a 1998 for a 2009 meant that I had never had Onstar, XM Radio or many of the other bells and whistles that come standard on this little beauty. The staff at Greg Bell Chevrolet-Cadillac had a real "greenhorn" on their hands. But, they never made me feel as though it was an annoyance to be peppered with hundreds of questions; nor did they brush aside my smallest concern.
The purchase process started with just looking around; no thanks just looking. Acting nonchalant - not wanting to let the salesman see me being too interested. The salesman, Gary Lundy, walked the entire lot with me for about an hour - the first time. It took four trips to the dealership, several test drives and much discussion with friends, family members and Gary before the decision was made. In all that time - about two weeks - Gary always treated me as a valued customer. He figured out payments, down payments, financing and a myriad of other details on several models before I made up my mind. I knew what the payments would be on the Chevy Cobalt, Malibu, HHR, and the Impala before making a decision.
Fast forward to this year. My best friend was looking for a late model used car. We spotted a sweet, candy-apple red 2007 Impala in Greg Bell's used car lot. Out the door of the dealership walked Gary Lundy. Nearly a year later, Gary knew me by my first name, remembered the car I bought, what I traded in, and asked me how the new Impala was performing. He even reminded me that it was still under warranty if there were any issues at all.
Well, my friend bought that candy-apple red Impala and, even though it is a used car, the staff at Greg Bell Chevrolet-Cadillac treats her like she owns a shiny new Cadillac.
You know that "car salesman" chatter you get at some car dealerships? You will never hear that at Greg Bell's dealership. The sales and service departments at Greg Bell know their products and their customers.
In my opinion, that's a really great way to do business. And, by the way, the Better Business Bureau gives Greg Bell Chevrolet-Cadillac in Adrian, Michigan an A+ rating.
My personal rating: A++

Post a CommentSounds like a great business...GM doesn't make cars like our 2006 Saturn and 99 Pontiac Firebird any more.
