Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. I love dressing up my kids and even dressing up myself. One of the hard things though can be deciding what costume to dress up your toddler in. There are so many costumes on the market for kids that it can quickly get overwhelming as you try to decide what to dress your child up in. This article will help you narrow down the choices by detailing five of the best Halloween costumes for toddlers to wear in 2010.

Best Halloween Costumes for Toddlers in 2010 #1: Dino Rider

This costume is suitable for a boy or girl and will surely make others look twice as they see your child riding on a mighty dinosaur! Target.com sells a Halloween costume that makes it look like your child is riding and in control of a green dinosaur. Your child steps into the costume and it is held in place by straps that go over your child's shoulder. They hold onto a strap on the dinosaurs head and it looks like they're taking a jaunt around the neighborhood, dinosaur style! The costume comes in two sizes 2T-3T and 3T-4T. You can purchase it for $30 dollars.

Best Halloween Costumes for Toddlers in 2010 #2: Sailorette

If you have a little girl, consider dressing her in a sailorette costume for she'll look truly adorable. The costume comes with a white sailor shirt, white hat and navy blue skirt, all with accents that clearly mark her a little sailorette. Pair it up with a pair of Mary Janes on her feet, white stockings on her legs and she'll be the hit of the party as she salutes fellow party goers. It is available in sizes 2T through 4T and sells for $21.19. You can purchase it from Halloween Express.com.

Best Halloween Costumes for Toddlers in 2010 #3: Woody

With Toy Story 3 coming out in theaters earlier this year, Woody and the gang are more popular then ever! You can't go wrong in dressing your son (or even daughter) in a Woody costume. The costume comes with a body suit that looks exactly as Woody's does and a brown cowboy hat. You can buy it from Fox Martin Corp through Amazon.com for $24.64. It is available in sizes 3T-4T for your toddler but it does come in larger sizes if you have an older child.

Best Halloween Costumes for Toddlers in 2010 #4: Lil' Lion

Want a gender neutral costume? QVC has a ferociously adorable lion costume. Your little guy or girl will be the King (or Queen) of the neighborhood on Halloween night. The costume consists of a lined and zippered bodysuit with an attached hood, feet and tail. The hood has layers of material that make it look like your child has a mane with ears peeking through. It is available in toddler size 18 months - 2T but also comes in small sizes. You can purchase it for $44.99.

Best Halloween Costumes for Toddlers in 2010 #5: Octopus

Let your toddler go nautical this Halloween. Toys R us has a swimmingly cute costume of an octopus. The costume itself is a blue romper that has six attached legs at the bottom (four are stuffed, two your child's legs go into) with two at the sides for your child's arms.
