Halloween is almost here. Have you thought of Halloween night? Sure you have, maybe some trick or treating, in store? Have you thought of adding a few fun filled Halloween movies to make the night a bit more fun and traditional for your family? Whether you watch them before you head out or when you get back, it will add to the night! Make Halloween a family movie night with these great titles!

Here are few of our favorites to help your night get started:

- Hocus Pocus

This movie is sure to be a favorite for you too! Full of laughs and that Halloween feel, it will have your family enjoying every minute of it. There are three witches( Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) all funny, strange and out to get their youth back. They first appear in the movie in the 17th century. Where they get caught and cast a spell that keeps them away for the next 300 years. With young children, a talking black cat, a walking dead man(not scary), and funny witches, your family are sure to enjoy.

-Halloweentown

This movie is a bit funny also. The children love it. There are three children who are unaware of their witch heritage and when their grandma comes for Halloween she decides its time for them to find out. This leads to Halloweentown. A world of just Halloween creatures. They help their grandma to defeat a warlock. Children will think its fun and parents can enjoy too!

- Halloweentown 2 Kalabar's Revenge

This is the sequel to the one above. It is also a fun movie full of witches, goblins, etc. None of these creatures are scary, so you wont have to worry about shielding their eyes! In this the children have to help save Halloweentown from an evil spell, from someone who is their last guess! It is fun, colorful, and filled with laughs for the whole family.

-Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie

Here is a Halloween movie made from a favorite classic, Winnie the Pooh. With the newest character, Lumpy. Lumpy is experiencing his first Halloween. A holiday he's never heard of before or experienced. He is a bit scared and isn't sure how it works. With his best friend Roo by his side he faces all his fears and unsureness. This is a great family film. Perfect for those new Halloween goers.

I hope you find all these Halloween films fun and enjoyable for your families Halloween night. I hope it starts a new Halloween tradition for your family!

Great choices. The second one listed I have never seen, but I am going to check on it. I am glad that you chose these over the typical Nightmare on Elm Street or Wrong Turn.

Wonderful selections! I'm very glad you did not include "Friday the 13th". It gave me nightmares as a child :)
