Gummy Candy is always a sure fire hit. Kids love gummy candy. Gummy worms, gummy bears, sour gummy worms or bears you name it they love it. Halloween specialty gummy candy is great too! You can buy them in the shape of bugs and ghosts amongst others.
Sour candy is probably one of your best bets for pleasing a good majority of your trick or treaters. Kids love Sour Patch Kids, War Heads and other face wincing sour candy. Again, you can often find Halloween shaped sour candies that kids will love.
Lollipops are another favorite for many trick or treaters. Although there are many types of lollipops to choose from, typically the kids prefer the lollipops that have gum inside. Blow Pops are the preferred lollipop of the majority of kids.
Cotton Candy is another requested favorite amongst trick or treaters. Cotton Candy can be purchased in sealed containers and bags for easy distribution. It is also a bit different, so if you are going for something more unique, this could be your winner.
Chocolate of course makes the list of favorites, but which chocolate bars are the most coveted. Snickers is consistently at the top of the list of favorite candies. Peanut Butter Cups rank high on the list too. Milky Way, York Peppermint Patty, M & M's, Twix, Kit Kat and Almond Joy all fall high on the list of favorite chocolate bars. These can all be purchased in fun size for Halloween.
To finish up the list we have some beloved classic candies that are still tempting peoples taste buds. Twizzlers is ranked by many as one of the most desired Halloween candies still after all these years. Many kids when asked still list gum as their favorite Halloween treat also. Skittles still rank pretty high along with Nerds and Starburst. Sweet-tarts, Smarties and Tootsie Rolls all still rank amongst the favorites as well.
The most important thing in my opinion is that you offer two choices for your trick or treaters. Some kids can't have chocolate. Some kids can't have peanut butter. So, having more than one choice ensures that you you will most likely have something for everyone this Halloween.
