Best Hanukkah Coloring Pages Sources

Sandra Essary
Hanukkah is the festival of lights shining in the dark winter skies. It lights your home with warm candlelight. Your children's smiles will light up as well with these free Hanukkah coloring pages. The coloring pages will entertain your kids while you are cooking or while you travel on a plane or car trip this December. Enjoy!

1. Parenting gives us seven Hanukkah coloring pages including dreidels, tree of life menorah, the Torah, and Hanukkah candles.

2. This web site has eight Hanukkah coloring pages, one for each of the eight nights. Here you can find a menorah with the Star of David, dreidel with a candle, and a boy lighting a menorah.

3. Kaboose.com is always a great site for finding kids' coloring pages and activities, and Hanukkah is no exception. These six Hanukkah coloring pages include a family playing the dreidel game, lighting the menorah on a snowy day, Hanukkah dinner, and two girls playing.

4. The fourteen Hanukkah coloring pages at Preschool Coloring Book are geared mainly toward younger children. Some of the coloring pages are: a boy dressed as a dreidel, Hanukkah celebration (with a dog, a cat, and a mouse celebrating), Happy Hanukkah, menorah, and a cute child with a Star of David.

5. The eight Hanukkah coloring pages from Primary Games include a menorah, Star of David, dreidel, and a family at Hanukkah time.

6. Apples4theteacher.com offers 12 Hanukkah coloring pages and include a Hanukkah family meal, lighting the menorah with the shamash, and the flag of Israel. Each side of a dreidel is also depicted with the corresponding Hebrew letter.

7. The eleven Hanukkah coloring pages at Shema Yisrael each have a caption below the picture in Hebrew and English. The pictures are more detailed than a lot of Hanukkah coloring pages. Definitely take a look at this one.

8. I like these eight Hanukkah coloring pages (one for each night). They have crisp clean lines and include houses with chanukiahs in their windows, a jug of oil, funny dreidels, and Judah the Maccabee. These Hanukkah coloring pages are a bit different from most I've seen.

9. Lilfingers' sixteen Hanukkah coloring pages include hay, gimel, nun, and shin dreidel faces, Stars of David, menorahs, Happy Hanukkah banner, and three Hanukkah cards.

10. The Bible Coloring Pages web site gives us thirteen Hanukkah coloring pages including some fun looking dreidels, an elephant and a dreidel, a dreidel and a space man, menorahs, and a Hanukkah meal.

Remember that Hanukkah begins at sundown on December 21, 2008 (Sunday) and ends December 29 (Monday) at sundown. Happy Hanukkah!

Yes, jp, you're absolutely right. A lot of times when Jewish children are younger, they want all those colorful Christmas lights and decorations in their house, too. They don't understand yet. It's important we contribute to helping these kids enjoy their holiday and honor their traditions.

way to go, tired of the lack of respect for other religions, Christmas just bowls everything else over sometimes, doesn't it?
