If you decide to go ahead and make a day trip in Melbourne, FL here are some places to visit during the daytime. Check out historic downtown Melbourne. With its old charm you can enjoy a quiet stroll through the tree-lined streets and pop into one of the many antique shops along your way. For lunch or dinner enjoy an authentic Irish meal at my favorite restaurant and pub, Meg O'Malley's. After dinner you'll want to drive over the Indian River causeway, towards Melbourne's most popular beach hangout, the boardwalk. At Melbourne's boardwalk you can sip on starbucks, or enjoy a sinful cup of coldstones creamery ice-cream.
2. Haunted Grimm House in the old town of Kissimmee, FL will put the fright in your Halloween for only $10.00 a person. Experience a night of scares as you make your way around the 4,000 square foot Victorian house that was built in 1886. The Grim family had their house built in a swap, and conducted their family run funeral business there until 1929. Rumor has it the family was murdered by their own butler. Don't miss the most frightening night of your life at the Haunted Grimm House in Kissimmee, FL.

Brought to you by the Mystery Playhouse of Terror, experience the real history behind Tallahassee's Sunland asylum. Post a CommentOne question. Why the charges? I own a real haunted house in New Hampshire and allow people in for free. I even provide food and beverages. We get on average 20-50 people in on Halloween and a few stragglers here and there during the rest of the year.
These all sound scary and fun!! :-)
