The 2011 Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are right around the corner. If you still enjoy the fun and joy of making holiday cards and writing sincere notes in inks, you may be looking for something memorable to say.
Most anyone can send a text or email wishing someone a great 2011 holiday season. But it takes that extra special person to take the time to find a nice card empty of words and write out how they feel in long hand.
Are you one of these wonderful people? Do you enjoy finding just the right sequence of words that can really add warmth to a person's heart and soul? If so, for the 2011 holidays, here are some resources for you where you can find some really wonderful holiday quotes, expressions and sayings.
Best-quotes-poems.com
The online website of best-quotes-poems.com has some really wonderful gems that you can use for your holiday cards. I have included the link for Christmas quotes because these are really great. For example, one of the quotations shown on this website is "There are no strangers on Christmas eve." There are many more.
Quotegarden.com/Christmas
Another great website for holiday quotes and sayings in 2011 is quotegarden.com/christmas. There are so many expressions on this site for the holidays that you will find all that you need. There are lots by Charles Dickens and Washington Irving too.
Great-inspirational-quotes.com
Do you want your holiday cards to inspire people in 2011? If so, go to the website of great-inspirational-quotes.com and see what you can find. There are lots of great holiday gifts, including one from Brigham Young that says, "Love the giver more than the gift."
Quotations.about.com
The about.com websites are very useful. The one at quotations.about.com has great sayings and expressions from some very famous people. Go to quotations.about.com and see which one you can use for your 2011 homemade holiday cards.
These websites can be very useful in 2011 for making and creating Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday cards for friends and family. Of course you can always just pick up the phone and tell someone how you feel and how much you care for them.
You can also join together for a fun time with friends where you help each other make cards and gifts and you read out some of these quotes to see how people like them. The holidays are all about being with those you love and those who love you back. Happy holidays in 2011.

great resources
awesome sites listed! thanks! :)
I am one of the few who still writes in "long hand" those individual messages of hope, love and inspiration to family and friends on cards. It's a ritual and it usually takes days and when the task is done, there are at least a hundred Christmas cards to be mailed ;) Thanks for the resources, cheers
that's really neat!!! Yeh, it's fun to be original and creative.
