Buttermilk Sunflower Seed Bread

½ cup buttermilk

1 tablespoon honey

1 ½ teaspoons butter

1 3/4 cups bread flour

¼ cup sunflower seeds

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

Pinch of ground cinnamon

Mix ingredients and follow directions according to the machine. Makes 1 lbs loaf.

Onion Bread

1 cup diced onion

1 minced garlic clove

1 tablespoon butter

¾ cup milk

2 cups bread flour

2 teaspoons sugar

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

Cook onion and garlic in butter until tender. Remove and let cool. Add remainder of ingredients and cook to machine specifications. Makes 1 lbs loaf.

Banana Walnut Bread

½ cup milk

½ cup mashed banana

1 egg

1 tablespoon butter

2 cups bread flour

2 teaspoons sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

½ cup pecans

Mix well and cook to machine directions. Makes 1 lbs loaf.

Italian Cheese Bread

¾ cup milk

1/3 cup ricotta cheese

1 ½ cups whole wheat flour

3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

2 teaspoons brown sugar

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

Mix and follow machine directions. Makes 1 lbs loaf.

Amaretto Bread

2/3 cup milk

1 egg

4 teaspoons amaretto

2 tablespoons butter

2 cups bread flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1/3 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

Mix ingredients and cook to machine directions. You can mix ½ cup sifted flour, 1 tablespoon amaretto and 2 tablespoons of milk and drizzle on top if you wish. Makes 1 lbs.

Cinnamon Apple Bread

1/3 cup milk

1 egg

2 tablespoons butter

2 cups bread flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1/3 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

1 cup shredded or diced well and peeled cooking apple

¼ cup pecans

¼ cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Mix well ingredients and cook to machine directions. Melt butter and powdered sugar. Brush on cooked loaf. Makes 1 lbs loaf.
