Best Hotel for Your Southern Comfort Located in Sevierville, Tennessee

It's that time of year again, the young'ins are out of school, the weather is warm and your ready for that long over do vacation! If you are planning to visit Gatlinburg - Pigeon Forge or the Sevierville area of east Tennessee and are looking for quality accommodations I know just the place!

The Clarion Inn Willow River. This is by far one of the most beautiful hotels in the area. The gorgeous ante-bellum design offers a feel of an old southern style plantation from a by gone era. Large pillars and private balconies give it a majestic appearance. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a gorgeous landscape that boasts large magnolia trees, colorful crepe myrtles and many others. Behind the hotel runs the Little Pigeon River with draping willow trees, which lends to the name of this grand Hotel. For a fantastic view ask for a riverside room!

They have a sparkling outdoor swimming pool and a relaxing lazy river. The lazy river is a manmade river that flows around a large gazebo. It has a constant current flowing through it and they provide you with the large innertubes. This is a wonderful way to relax after a long day of shopping.

The inside is equally stunning with elegant furnishings and a romantic "Gone With The Wind" theme throughout the lobbies. The lobby has a beautiful gas fireplace perfect for those chilly nights and above it hangs the largest gold gilt mirror I have ever seen! Relax in the main lobby with a fresh brewed cup of coffee or mulled hot apple cider that's always ready for your enjoyment, while you enjoy the decor or watch the big screen T.V. One of the features I really enjoyed was the indoor pool and jacuzzi, which is open to the guests 24HRS a day. By the way this is the only hotel in the area, that has an indoor pool that is open for 24 hrs. a day.

You can start your day off right with their free continental breakfast which is located on the second floor in their charming dining area. Although like me, you may prefer to dine out on the large patio over looking the lovely sceneary as you breath in the fresh morning air. The continental breakfast is more than your typical donut and coffee. They have many items to choose from or try them all. Bisquits and sausage gravy, oatmeal and grits, donuts and bagels, fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs, cereal ,juice and more. I was stuffed to say the least!

The rooms are inviting and comfortable with a contemporary flair and all of the modern conveniences. For our anniversary my husband and I stayed in one of their king suites, which offers an in room jacuzzi for two as well as a gas fireplace. It was very romantic and cozy!

The service was outstanding and the prices depending on the time of year or type of room varies anywhere from $59.99- $169.99.

The Clarion Inn Willow River is conveniently located near antique shops, which by the way are my passion, restaurants and of course the Great Smoky Mtns for wonderful hikes or a picnic along side the river. For an unforgettable time you must spend a day at Dollywood while your there!
