Best Hotel to Stay at with Your Kids in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Best Western Milwaukee Airport Hotel and Conference Center
Best Hotel to Stay at With Your Kids in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Reason #1:
Cleanliness
Cleanliness is so important to me because I am a neat freak and I don't like to be stressed-out when I am on vacation with my family. My kids are three and five, and believe me they get into everything and play with every single thing in the room: Pillows, blankets, ice buckets, room vaults, bathroom supplies, and key cards. The Best Western Milwaukee Airport Hotel and Conference Center was not only extremely clean, but it was pretty too. The rooms were contemporary and well lit and the bathroom was quite roomy and just as beautiful. My kids actually gasped when I opened the door to the room for our first night.
Best Hotel to Stay at With Your Kids in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Reason #2:
Friendliness
The super-friendly staff made me feel very appreciated when I walked through the doors. It was about 6:30 at night on a Saturday and there were three attendants at the front desk that all welcomed me. They noticed that I was a 'Rewards Member' and even gave me a small gift bag full of treats and mini-bottled waters. The cleaning employees always said hello to us in the hallway and as we were leaving my five-year-old was carrying her guitar in its gig bag and one of the workers paid special attention to her and asked her all about it. She was just shy of getting it out and playing a song.

Tropical Pool Setting
My kids loved this. We have a small above-ground pool at home and both of my girls can swim. They were tickled pink when they saw the Best Western Atrium Pool Setting when we got to Milwaukee. Not only was it beautiful with live trees and plants, but the temperature had to have been about 78 degrees. The huge atrium was set up with kids games and included a key-secured area with a huge pool that had a deep and a shallow end and to my husband's joy, a wonderful hot tub; carrying a three-year-old on your shoulders for the better part of a day can make anyone ache for a hot tub.
Best Hotel to Stay at With Your Kids in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Reason #4:
Price
As a Stay-at-Home Mom, a grad student at UWEC, and moonlight writer, money is not something that I have in excess. Price is always important to me and my tight budget, but when it comes to a hotel, sometimes the quality is worth an extra buck or two. The thing is, at the Best Western in Milwaukee, it was twenty dollars more to stay there than the Motel 6 down the street, however the breakfast made up for that in itself, as it would cost a family of four twenty dollars to eat breakfast in Milwaukee no matter where a person were to go. Well with the exception of the delicious George Webb perhaps.
Best Hotel to Stay at With Your Kids In Milwaukee, Wisconsin Reason #5:
Complimentary Breakfast
As a full-time Mom, I love it when someone else cooks for me, and to make my morning coffee too?! Well that is just like winning the lottery that I forgot I entered. Whether it was the waffle maker or the fresh fruit that they have set up in their five star restaurant their complimentary breakfast was superb. The breakfast was a 'hot breakfast' which means that they have eggs, bacon, sausage, and some sort of potato. The Restaurant at Best Western Milwaukee Airport Hotel and Conference Center also had four variations of cereal, bread, English muffins, Danishes, three kinds of yogurts, and a juice bar that was at a height that made it easy for my kids to get their own juice. The buffet was clean, well-attended, and did I mention the freshly brewed coffee? They even had a variety of creamers to choose from. It was delicious and well-worth the extra money I spent for the room.
