Rates for rooms range from $155 - $350 per night with a minimum two-night stay required most of the year.
The Comfort Inn on Lake Placid-
The Comfort Inn on Lake Placid is a 92 room budget level hotel. This hotel is just a few minutes away from the museum of the 1932 and 1980 winter Olympics. This establishment is also a very pet friendly hotel allowing up to two pets weighing up to one hundred pounds each. For those of you that like to sleep in late, checkout time here is at noon! Also included in every room is a hook up to their high speed Internet. Rates for rooms range from $145 - $235 per night.
Placid Bay Inn-
Placid Bay Inn is located right on the water in Saranac, NY and is within walking distance of everything that the town has to offer to you. There are a dozen standard hotel style rooms and two separate cottages sitting on the water available for your stay. There are a few of the standard rooms that you can have for one night, however the remainder of rooms and cottages require anywhere from a three to five night minimum stay.
