Certainly this is a facility that seems to dedicate itself to providing an atmosphere that says "welcome". Lynwood Ice Center prides itself on its wrap around sound and its great lighting effects which both add to total on ice skating experience. Even beginning level skaters can feel like pros when they are surrounded by the right special effects.
The Lynwood Ice Center divides its available ice time between figure skating, "sticks and pucks", pick up hockey games, learning to skate programs and public skating giving every one a chance to enjoy their specialty. Admission prices for public skating is $7 for adults and $6 for children under twelve and seniors. Skate rentals are $3 .Lynwood Ice Center offers a variety of special price saving packages and events to allow families to come out and skate more frequently. Wednesday nights are "cheapskate" nights when admission is only $5.

Bellingham Sportsplex, Bellingham, WA- When the cold, raw Northwest climate of winter chases everyone indoors its good to know that there are alternatives like the Bellingham Sportsplex. This is an excellent winter indoor retreat that lets kids stay healthy and fit and develop their sports interests at the same time. Not only does the Bellingham Sportsplex offer an indoor turf facility for soccer but also the Sportsplex contains one of the best ice skating spots in Washington.
At the Bellingham Sportsplex there is a good balance of ice availability for those who like hockey and those just seeking recreational skating. The admission price at the Bellingham Sportsplex is a very reasonable $5 for adults and $4 for youths 17 or younger. Skate rental will cost you $2.50. There is public skating on the weekends on Friday night fro 7 -10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 1-3 p.m. What is also a nice feature here is that on Monday and Thursday afternoons from 2:45- 4:30 the public is invited to enjoy skating at just $2.00 per person plus the cost of skate rentals if needed. There is also a morning session on Wednesdays for folks who are home schooling their children at the same bargain rate.
Hockey buffs aren't left out of the fun. There are times set aside for puck and stick activity, pick up hockey games, adult hockey, even women's hockey gets due props at Bellingham Sportsplex.
