Disney's A Christmas Carol is probably the biggest kids movie coming out this fall and should be fun for the whole family. A Christmas Carol is a 3D reinvisioning of the classic Dicken's Christmas story. It stars Jim Carrey, who plays Scrooge and the three ghosts of past, present, and future. The star studded cast also includes Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, and Robin Wright Penn. This kids movie will not only be fun for your children to watch, it will probably also teach them a lesson or two. If your kids like aliens and space adventures, Planet 51 is a kids movie you will want to check out. The cast includes Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Seann William Scott, Jessica Biel, and Justin Long. Planet 51 is an animated comedy about an American astronaut who lands on a planet he thinks he discovered. The Princess and the Frog is another kids movie being released by Disney in Fall 2009. It also has an all star line-up with Terrence Howard, John Goodman, and Oprah Winfrey. The Princess and the Frog follows a prince and princess in New Orleans who have been turned into frogs by voodoo. They have to undo the spell by reaching the good voodoo priestess. This film is animated in 2d like a lot of the older Disney movies.
