Best Las Vegas Hotels for Business Trips

Steve Thompson
Las Vegas is one of the most popular destinations for business trips, particularly those surrounding conventions. When you're going to be in Vegas for a night (or even a week), you'll want to choose a hotel that is conducive to a business trip. Following are my top four Las Vegas hotels for those who need comfort combined with amenities that are suitable for doing business.

Four Seasons Las Vegas
3960 Las Vegas Boulevard S.
877.632.5000 (for reservations)
fourseasons.com/lasvegas

If you're looking for luxury, you'll find it at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas. Although it is connected to the Mandalay Bay resort, it has its own service entrance and its own set of staff. They offer tons of business perks, such as a conference room large enough to see two hundred and a pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi and room service. You can work out in their state-of-the-art gym or make convenient reservations through their concierge service. They have a business center complete with computers, high-speed Internet access, copiers and fax machines. The Four Seasons is also home to two restaurants -- Charlie Palmer and the Verandah -- as well as private meeting rooms.

Holiday Inn Express
5760 Polaris Ave.
800.465.4329

Less pricey than the Four Seasons but still clean and comfortable, the Holiday Inn Express on Polaris offers a free shuttle service to and from McCarran Airport and the Mandalay Bay Resort. They have a wide array of simple amenities that make your business trip worth taking, including free Internet service and plenty of outlets in the guest rooms for your electronics. You won't find a bar or restaurant at this hotel, but you can take advantage of their continental breakfast, which is served every morning with a buffet as well as coffee and juice.

Renaissance Las Vegas
3400 Paradise Rd.
877.211.9111

If you're looking for a quiet, reasonably priced hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the casinos, Renaissance Las Vegas might be perfect for your business trip. They offer large, nicely furnished meeting rooms as well as guest rooms with flat-screen television sets and plenty of room to spread out your work. The Envy Steakhouse is their full-service restaurant and they also have an adjacent bar. You can access just about any area of Las Vegas from the Renaissance via the monorail, or you can use their free shuttle service to get to the convention center. The rooms are nicely decorated and it's a much fancier restaurant than the prices suggest.

Las Vegas Hilton
3000 Paradise Rd.
800.732.7117

This is a popular spot for Barry Manilow and Star Trek fans, as both have performances annually. The Las Vegas Hilton is loved off the Strip for quietude and peace, but has a stop for the monorail so you're never disconnected from the action. They have both a spa and a workout facility in addition to an indoor pool, a meeting room and a business center. You'll find that the prices are perfectly reasonable and the location is hard to beat. There are several restaurants in the hotel for casual lunches or business dinners and the new casino floor is a major attraction.
