The A'Van Weekender is a great choice for a small trailer. This trailer is a teardrop style camper that is just a bit over-sized. It weighs 850 pounds and is just 2 inches over 12 feet long. The width is 6-foot-6 inches. You can get an optional port-a-potty and the entire back is a door that opens, giving it easy access to the inside. Part of the ceiling lifts up and provides a great storage space. This is a very well-built and a budget-friendly travel trailer.
The Microlite Vymeron is another nice lightweight travel trailer. This is a little more of a traditional style camper trailer. It weighs 1,300 pounds. The dinette converts into a bed, and it has a galley. It also features a small bathroom. The rounded corners help with the aerodynamics and give it a bit of a classy look. This trailer has all electric hookups so it does not require gas at all. A really unique feature is the optional rear-loading door with a ramp that converts this into a toy hauler trailer that is capable of handling a large motorcycle.
If you are looking for a lightweight travel trailer that is a little more fashionable, then take a look at the Safari Condo Alto. This trailer is Canadian built and has a great innovative expandable design. This trailer weighs in at 1,635 pounds and is 17-foot-3 inches long and 6-foot-11 inches wide. Most of the expandable trailers are made of a soft-side construction. The Alto has a great rigid glad sidewall that is revealed when the roof is raised. After the roof is raised, you have 8 feet of headroom, but it is only 7 foot tall when it is lowered. The inside offers a galley on one side and a small bathroom on the other side. It also features a dinette that converts to a bed, and the window space makes it feel even larger.
If you are looking for a larger lightweight travel trailer, visit TrailManor. They offer upright trailers that tow like a pop-up. They offer some great floor plans that would fit anybody's needs. You can get travel trailers equipped with air conditioning, TV antenna, TV shelf, bike carrier, satellite dish, solar panels, electric tongue jack, microwave, hanging kitchen cabinet and more! There are a ton of great features that come standard with every single trailer as well, such as a 30 gallon grey water tank, front bed privacy curtains, deluxe interior fabrics, maple cabinet doors, porch lights and so much more.
Whatever type of lightweight trailer you may be looking for, there are some great choices out there that can accommodate anyone!
