What bride wouldn't love to get married in a castle? Falkenstein Castle is located on the highest hill in the area outside of Burnet, Texas. The castle grounds cover 113 acres in the middle of 5,000 acres of surrounding Texas parkland. On a clear day the 360 degree views stretches out 30 miles in every direction. The main grounds of the castle and various buildings covers approximately 174,240 square feet. The main building where the weddings are held is nearly ninety feet tall. The castle was built in the old tradition of Castle building in Europe. The walls are made out of solid stone, the chandeliers are cast iron, and the huge columns are from ancient forests some 30 feet tall.A wedding package at Falkenstein Castle costs $5,995 and includes castle rental, reception center, a photographer, a wedding consultant, wedding cake, and flowers. Since they only book 40 weddings each year and hold only one wedding per weekend, available time slots fill up quickly, so it's a good idea to book this place way in advance!

The Angel Mountain Event Facility is a rustic location located on 5.1 acres surrounded by Loblolly Pine Trees. Their 2500 sq. ft. covered pavilion area will seat up to 200 guests and offers up a spectacular view of the area as well as a beautiful unspoiled sunset. There is a stage for the wedding itself and an area for the band or DJ as well. The facility also offers a 2000 sq. ft. kitchen area, and separate dressing areas for the bride and groom. They have a list of vendors you can choose from, or you can choose your own vendors. The facility is booked by the hour for weddings or receptions and pricing is based on the day and time of day you want.
