Ah, Valentine's Day is once again just around the corner once again. Here are some great songs to set the mood to as you get ready for your night out with your loved one. Set the mood for another great Valentine's Day with my Favorite Love Songs of All Time!

TOP 15 LOVE SONGS OF ALL TIME: (NOTE: These are MY personal favorites)

1. Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers. Oh, my love my darling I've hungered for your touch. This song is one of the best love songs ever created. This song is just beautiful and was first recorded in 1955.

2.Stand By Meby Ben E. King. This song is very romantic. This song was first recorded in 1961 by Ben E. King. Stand By Me was written by Ben E. King, Jerry Leiber, and Mike Stroller.

3.Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. A beautiful tribute against Clapton's seductive guitar. Wonderful Tonight was first performed on Clapton's 1977 album Slowhand. Clapton write the song about Pattie Boyd, as mentioned in her autobiographical book Wonderful Tonight: George Harrison, Eric Clapton, and Me.

4. Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses was released on August 20, 1988 and soon topped the Top 100 Billboard charts. The song was written by Axl, Slash, and Mikey Wiseman about Axl Roses' then girlfriend, Erin Everly.

5. Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi. This song first hit the scene in 1987. Take my hand we'll make it I swear.

6.Take My Breath Away by Berlin. What can I say other than it is a great song that the movie Top Gun made famous in 1986!

7. Truly Madly Deeplyby Savage Garden - (1997) I want to sail with you in the sea I want to lay like this forever, until the sun falls down on me. One hit wonder, maybe, but this song is lyrically sound.

8. Everything I Do (I Do It For You)by Brian Adams from 1991. I would fight for you - I'd lie for you. Walk the wire for you - ya I'd die for you. This song is so romantic!

9. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith and written by my idol Diane Warren. I could spend my life in this sweet surrender. I could stay lost in this moment forever. Well, every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure. You probably most remember this song from the movie Armageddon.

10. Kiss Me In The Darkby Randy Rogers. Kiss me in the dark - roll me in the night hold me like you'll never let me go. Hit me with your heart till the morning light - let your skin talk to my soul. Very poetic lyrics and you have to love Randy Rogers deep voice beckoning in the night.

11. Faithfullyby Journey. What's better than hearing someone say : I'm forever yours--faithfully Journey is king of the love songs.

12. Dreamloverby Mariah Carey - A fun and careless love song circa 1993. Dreamlover came from Mariah Carey's fourth album Music Box.

13. Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper - If you fall I will catch you, I will be waiting..time after time.. This song is forever preserved as one of the best love songs ever.

14. You Are So Beautiful by Joe Cocker - No one can sing a love song like Joe Cocker. No one. A simple but effective love song.

15. The Power of Loveby Celine Dion. The sound of your heart beating made it clear suddenly the feeling that I can't go on is light years away. This song created a moment with the soft beckoning and discoveries of love.

    great choices! i was listening to Sweet Child of Mine yesterday. also a girl group did a slow remake of Time After Time for use on Smallville-- it was great. :) jeffrey
