My first choice was Lou Malnati's which happens to be the same as the taste of Chicago website. There is a wonderful menu of different foods that you can enjoy besides the delicious deep dish style pizza they offer. You can also order different kits to suit your taste. I have never had a Chicago style hot dog, which again, all I know is New York, but surprised at how tasty the Vienna dog was. The kit came with everything you needed to grill it on your own such as a package of Vienna, seeded buns, and condiments including mustard for your dogs. Very delicious. They even have a menu where you can get food delivered to you and it contains a different package each month. For example, in February you get the valentine package that is heart shaped pizza and a heart shaped cheesecake and so on.
There are various options to choose from depending on what you want delivered to your home. There are also gift cards that you can purchase if you want to make this a great gift for a friend or family member. Everything comes very well packaged in a sealed tight box and with dry ice to ensure freshness. Thank goodness for the Internet and mail order service because I am able to try foods that I otherwise would not be able to unless I travel there myself and this goes for everyone who is just like me and always wanted to try authentic food and best pizza from Chicago.
With Taste of Chicago, you get not only pizza, but ribs, hackney burgers, Vienna hot dogs and more. I can say that I have tried almost everything there and always satisfied with each order. Very simple and basic. They accept all major credit cards as well as gift certificates and they can ship it to you any time just choose on the schedule they show you before checkout.
Gino's East is also good, not quite as diverse as Lou Malnati, but they do have a good variety of pizza to choose from and also very tasty. In fact, when it comes to my family and I craving Chicago style pizza, it comes down to these two as they are the bestout of all we have tried. You get the same service as you would any other site, you place your order and wait for your shipment to come. They ship anywhere in the USA.
