While the other options on McNellie's menu are also delicious, going on a Wednesday during this time slot will definitely save you cash while still providing you with a great meal and fun dining experience.

El Guapo Cantina: Also located on 1^st Street in downtown Tulsa, this Mexican restaurant also offers a special low-price meal night. Fortunately for those who want to grab an affordable night out at McNellie's, El Guapo's "Taco Tuesday" deal is offered on Tuesdays-unlike McNellie's Wednesday night specialty. For "Taco Tuesday" El Guapo offers one dollar tacos. While this may seem like a great deal, I have to admit that after trying this out I was rather disappointed. The tacos were very small and only the pork option was available for the dollar price; other meats cost a bit more. However, other customers seem to really enjoy this low priced deal and regularly drop by El Guapo on Tuesday nights.

Jo Mama's Pizza: If you want delicious and decently priced pizza, Jo Mama's is the place to go. With a fun and lively atmosphere, Jo Mama's is especially entertaining on Thursday nights during their trivia time. Trivia nights vary in topic from week to week and teams from all over Tulsa love to compete for the top spot each week. Often the proceeds from trivia night are donated to a non-profit organization.
