Mega Man 3
While all the NES Mega Man games received great reviews the later games were pawned by critics for not adding anything new. Mega Man 3 is the last of the NES games that brought big changes to the Mega Man franchise.
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
While there are 3 Marvel Vs. Capcom games Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes is the last one to feature Mega Man. While many fighting games came out after the popularity of Street Fighter most were not very good. The Marvel Vs. Capcom series is one of the best fighting game series and Mega Man is one of the best characters in this great fighting game.
Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters
This was Mega Mans second time in a fighting game. It was more then just a fighting game with many elements of the Mega Man series being involved in the game. Unlike many other fighting games that used popular franchises like the Ninja Turtles fighting games Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters gave players many elements that they have come to expect from the Blue Bomber and had a much more complex story then normal fighting games.
Mega Man Soccer
Yes I put Mega Man soccer on this list. OK it might not be remembered as the best game of the franchise but if you are like everyone in the world that is not American then you will love soccer. For fans of Mega Man this means you have a game that puts two things you love in one package and at the time there were not many soccer games to play. Soccer fans could not get FIFA games yet so this was the best thing until we got FIFA.
Mega Man 7
Mega Man 7 was the only game of the original series to be on the SNES. Mega man 7 was like an update of all that was right in the previous NES Mega Man games. They took what was right with previous games and used the enhanced graphics and sound of the SNES. The only bad thing about Mega Man 7 is that is is the only game in the franchise on the SNES.
With so many Mega Man games during the franchises long history it is impossible to make a top list of Mega Man games that will make everyone happy. While not many will agree with this whole list you probably will go away agreeing with at least one or two of these Mega pics.
