They have everything from steak, poultry, seafood, and a lot Italian dishes; some of this Italian restaurant's specialty dishes include the Balsamic Braised Short Ribs, Steamed Mussels, Duck, Calamari, along with numerous pasta dishes. Campiello Uptown's food is very delicious and homemade by an army of chefs that can be viewed along the back wall of the restaurant. Campiello Uptown also has a great selection of alcoholic drinks; they have a great selection of wines, beers, and they also offer new, creative and fun specialty martinis and they also offer traditional, classic martinis.
Prices and Dress
Campiello Uptown in Downtown Minneapolis offers relatively expensive entrees to its guests. An entrée at this restaurant can range anywhere from 20-40 dollars. But, keep in mind that the prices depend on what type of food you order; a customer could order a traditional spaghetti or pasta for a very reasonable price, whereas someone could also order a filet-mignon and a bottle of wine and spend a tremendous amount more. So, it is very easy to comprehend that even if a guest did not have a lot of money to spend, a person could still eat at Campiello Uptown for a relatively reasonable price. The portions at this Minneapolis restaurant are quite small and/or average compared to other restaurants in the area, so it is not very possible for two people to split one entrée as they could at some other Italian restaurant in the Minneapolis area. If you are contemplating whether or not to have dinner at Campiello Uptown you should know that they have a somewhat sophisticated formal dress code, so you should expect to wear khakis or dress suit pants paired with a polo or dress shirt.
This restaurant offers valet parking for its guests, but if you do not feel like valet parking, you can also park your automobile in nearby metered street parking. There are plenty of rooms and space available to its guests for large parties and events. They offer private rooms, outdoor dining, group dining, as well as full dining at the bar. Campiello Uptown is quiet, dimly-lit Italian restaurant that is perfect for dates, couples, and groups of friends looking to have a delicious dinner, a tasty drink, and excellent service in a romantic and sophisticated atmosphere. Reservations are recommended when wanting to dine at Campiello Uptown, especially during the weekends; reservations can be made by calling (612)825-2222. This restaurant is great, but I would not recommend families or children, this restaurant, in my opinion, is not very kid-friendly. This Italian restaurant is more suited for someone out on date, couples, and/or groups of friends. I would recommend it to older adults looking to have a quiet and relaxed Italian dinner.
Campiello Uptown offers delicious Italian food, and great service. It is beautifully decorated inside and out with traditional Italian decorations, and beautiful plants, and greenery as well as a waterfall on the outside patio. Campiello Uptown is a perfect date-spot, but it is also perfect for couples, and groups of friends looking for a fantastic night out on the town in beautiful Minneapolis.
