Saturday Night Fever - 1977. Starring John Travolta, Karen Gorney. This one movie helped to popularize the disco scene. Brooklyn Teen Travolta hates his job working in a paint store and finds new lease on life along with a new love for disco dancing. Great movie sound track spawned hits like Staying Alive, Night Fever, More Than a Woman, How deep is Your Love.

Grease - 1975. Starring John Travolta, Olivia Newton John. This is the film version of the big Broadway hit set in the 1950's about summer love. Movie had great music soundtrack which included hits like Grease, Summer Nights, You're the One That I Want, Hopelessly Devoted to You.

Purple Rain -1984. Starring Prince. Who can forget Prince's self indulgent autobiography. Spawned title hit Purple Rain, When Doves Cry.

Dirty Dancing - 1987. Starring Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey. Grey is vacationing in the Catskills and falls for Dirty Dancer Patrick Swayze. Movie soundtrack featured songs like I've Had the Time of My Life, Be My Baby, Big Girls Don't Cry, Do You Love Me, Hungry Eyes, This Magic Moment.

Footloose - 1984. Starring Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer. Great cast and music. Bacon is determined to bring dancing and music to a small town. Featured songs like Footloose, Let's Hear it For the Boy, The Girl Gets Around, Dancing in The Streets.

Pulp Fiction - 1994. Starring John Travolta, This is a great Tarantino movie with the trademark violence and wicked black humor. Great music and film soundtrack. Featured songs like Jungle Boogy, Strawberry Letter #23, Let's Stay Together, Son of A Preacher Man, Girl You'll Be A Woman Soon.

The Breakfast Club - 1985. Starring Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson. Movie soundtrack featured songs by Wang Chung, and Simple Minds. Music soundtrack favorite songs included Don't You Forget About Me, Waiting, Love Theme.
