Best Movies of 2010: Top 5 Most Anticipated Horror Movies Coming to Theaters

There are plenty of horror movies to choose from to watch at the theaters in 2010. The hard part is figuring out which are just hyped out and which are the best ones. Here are the 5 most anticipated horror films that are coming to the cinemas in 2010.

5. Nightmare on Elm Street - Just when you thought it was safe to sleep again, it happened. Freddy's back! On April 30^th,Nightmare on Elm Street becomes the newest classic horror film to be re-made. Will you be scared to go to sleep again?

4. Piranhas 3D - Did you like the 1978 film called Piranha? Did you like the recent horror flick, Bloody Valentine 3D? If you said yes to either of those, then Piranhas 3D could be up your ally. If you said yes to both, then you are in for a treat. What is better than flesh eating fish in 3D? How about flesh eating fish in 3D and Elisabeth Shue? The beauty from such classics as The Karate Kid and Adventures In Babysitting, lights up the screen with a bunch of flesh-gnawing fish as co-stars on April 16^th.

3. Daybreakers - Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe star in this new vampire flick that comes to theaters on January 8^th. I know just what horror movie fans are thinking. Oh great, another lovey dovey vampire movie, just what I want. Don't get sad on me, I have good news for you horror fans. This is a different kind of vampire movie. It's one with blood, guts and lots of killing. Better yet, it doesn't involve all that emotional "I love you" junk. They don't love; they kill!

2. Scream 4 - The Scream Trilogy is loved by horror movie fans and even non-horror movie fans. The Scream movies are about to come back to life in 2010 with Scream 4 hitting the big screen. Even better news for Scream fans; Scream 4 is the start of a new Scream trilogy. Yeppers, that means this one and then two more Scream movies. Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox Arquette and David Arquette are all rumored to be in this movie, but it is unknown to what extent.

1. Predators - Topher Grace and Adrien Brody star in this sequel to the classic movie, Predator. It hits theaters in the middle of summer on July 7^th. Different elite warriors stuck in the jungle, but thankfully for us, the same alien predators are out there with them.
