3) The Shinning-horror movies (1997 or 1980) starring Steven Weber, Rebecca De Mornay, Courtland Mead, and Wil Horneff-Rated R. Winner of two Emmy Awards and two Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA Awards. A best Halloween movie, the setting is a professor takes a job as a caretaker at a hotel and moves in with his family only to find out it is haunted. One of my all time best Halloween movies to watch. Even the 1997 version is a great movie, with Jack Nicholson at his best.

4) A Nightmare on Elm Street-horror movies (2010 or 1984) starring Jackie Earle Haley, Kyle Gallner, Rooney Mara, Katie Cassidy, Thomas Dekker, and Kellan Lutz-Rated R. Another best Halloween movie, the setting is a group of young people are hunted down and murdered in their sleep by Freddy Krueger. A classic and another best Halloween movies to watch.

5) Seven-thriller movies (1995) starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman-Rated R. Winner of ASCAP Film Television Music Awards, two Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA Awards, and a Blue Ribbon Award to name a few. A best Halloween movie, the setting is two detectives hunt down a sociopathic serial killer who chooses his victims to represent the Seven Deadly Sins. Not a true horror film but is definitely full of horrific murder scenes and a must on the best Halloween movies to watch list.

6) Sixth Sense-thriller movies (1999) starring Bruce Willis, Haley Joel Osment, Toni Collette and Olivia Williams-Rated PG-13. Winner of two Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA Awards, MTV Movie Award, and two People's Choice Awards, USA to name a few. Another best Halloween movie, the setting is a young boy seeks the help of a psychologist to help him with his ability to see and speak to dead people. The ending really makes this movie and is one of the reasons it makes the list of best Halloween movies to watch.

7) Frailty-thriller movies (2001) starring Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey-Rated R. Winner of Bram Stoker Award, International Horror Guild, and National Board of Review, USA Award. A best Halloween movie, the setting is a man turns his brother into the FBI because he believes he is a serial killer who has carried on the works of their father. A man on a mission to wipe out demons in others makes this movie a thriller and another to add to the list of best Halloween movies to watch.

8) The Last Exorcism-horror movies (2010) starring Patrick Fabian, Ashley Bell, Iris Bahr, Louis Herthum, and Caleb Landry Jones-Rated PG-13. A best Halloween movie, the setting is a minister with several years experience with exorcisms makes his last one a documentary. Nothing prepared him for this last exorcism. 9) The Crazies-horror movies (2010) starring Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Joe Anderson and Danielle Panabaker-Rated R. Another best Halloween movie, the setting is a small town goes crazy when a virus is released into their water supply. Those who drink the water turn into cold blooded killers. 10) Mirrors-horror movies (2008) starring Kiefer Sutherland, Paula Patton, Cameron Boyce, and Erica Gluck-Rated R. A best Halloween movie, the setting is an ex-cop takes a job as a security guard and discovers that supernatural horror exists in the mirrors of the building he is working at. These evil spirits are using the mirrors as a gateway and haunts his family at home. Another edge of your seat kind of movie and a must on the best Halloween movies to watch list.
