Nerf has been making their amazingly fun and entertaining toys for decades. Their latest line of guns have some hot new features which make them even more fun to play with and even to customize. Here are some ideas from my list of Best Nerf Guns 2011 for the holiday season, through early 2012.

Nerf Vortex Nitron:

Your go-to weapon will be this Nerf N-Strike Maverick Gear Up. This is an awesome looking six-shooter with a hefty, chunky look to the barrel. Once you line up your target with the tactical rail; you just slide, lock and load for an easy shot and victory. The Maverick Gear Up is air powered and has quick firing aided by the rotating barrel. This model comes with 6 Whistler darts, 4 gear up darts and a Vortex disc. Just flip it open for easy re-loading. Additional darts may be purchased separately.
