Best Nightlife in Lake Buena Vista, Florida

When you think Walt Disney World, many people think of children. There's so much more that happens at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista after the sun goes down. The nightlife is amazing whether you're looking for family activities or only for the grown ups. There are parades, evening shows, dinner shows, clubs of all kinds, and more. Living the nightlife in Lake Buena Vista exceeds the expectations of many.

The theme parks in Lake Buena Vista also offer some great nighttime activities as well. There are parades and fireworks displays that I can't even begin to compare to other places. Magic Kingdom theme park has the Spectromagic Parade at night which is filled with thousands of lights to go along the streets of the Magic Kingdom. There's also Wishes fireworks display that is extremely beautiful as it lights up the sky in Lake Buena Vista. Illuminations is the nighttime show filled with lasers, fireworks, and music in World Showcase in Epcot. This is an unbelievable show that takes you around the world and ends with the brightest grand finale I have ever seen. At MGM, there is a magical show called Fanstasmic. Spend the entire show with more Disney characters you could ever imagine. The highlight of this show is when they start the water on fire. Yes, there is actually a fire on the water in front of you. This is not only for adults, but the kids as well. What better way to end an evening in Lake Buena Vista.

The dinner shows are definitely something special! Leave it to Disney to plan a dinner show that will create an extraordinary experience. Check out the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian Resort. Get a taste of an evening luau with this wonderfully themed dinner show. Enjoy the music and dancing of Polynesia while you dive into the family style traditional meal that includes some samplings of the Polynesian dining. Another great show is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness Campground. Enjoy a "down home" family style meal which includes chicken, ribs, beans, and corn on the cob. Chow down while you watch some of the old style country western entertainers. This is an amusing show as it includes much comedy and audience interaction. These dinner shows will cost between $50 and $60 per adult and $25 to $30 per child.

Although the whole family can head to Downtown Disney in Lake Buena Vista, Pleasure Island at night is for adults. With so many clubs to choose from, this is what many consider to be the "nightlife" of Disney World. You have various clubs all with different themes, so you can virtually have so many experiences in just one night! First there's 8 Trax, which is a retro dance club where you can dance to the 70's and 80's music you love. Get your disco dancing done, then head on to the next club. The Adventurer's Club is a very interactive club where you never know what will happen next. It's hard to even explain other than it's filled with different things and stories from explorers from long ago. This is a very unique experience.

After your mind is boggled a little bit, head over to the BET Soundstage Club for your favorite new hip-hop and old R & B music. If you still haven't had enough dancing, Mannequins Dance Palace that is the club to be at. With flashing lights, rotating dance floor, and the beat of the hot techno music of today you'll feel the energy that surrounds the club. Tone it down a bit when you go on over to the Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club filled with fun and even some live bands on certain nights. Time to liven it up a bit again? Trek it over to Motion where you can dance non-stop to your favorite top 40 hits of today. Now that you're exhausted, what better way to top off the night than to take a seat the Comedy Warehouse? Watch some great comedians while you get in on this non-stop laughter!

Just want an amazing show to go see? How about Cirque du Soleil La Nouba at Downtown Disney West Side? This amazing show full of energy will leave you breathless and your imagination running wild. Many entertainers from all around the globe come together to give a performance that will leave you amazed. It's a mix of gymnastics, acrobatics, dancers, and more that when you put them all together gives you 90 minutes of a high energy show in a theatre that seats nearly 1700 people.

How about taking a walk on the Boardwalk in Lake Buena Vista? With so many things to do and places to dine, you won't be bored! The dining establishments are out of this world as you walk along your New Jersey like walk. Try the Flying Fish Cafe, Spoodles, ESPN Club, or Big River Grille & Brewing Works to name a few. Or maybe you just want the traditional cheese fries or chili dog. After you're done eating, take a break with some great shopping along the Boardwalk. With so many shops to choose from, you won't come out empty handed. After a little shopping, how about living it up a little at one of the entertainment spots such as Jellyrolls or Atlantic Dance. You never know what else you might see on a night on the Boardwalk. Watch for some juggling, jazz music, or even some that can read your future. It's a memorable experience that you shouldn't miss!
