Best (No Chain) Japanese Restaurants in Citrus County

In Homossasa, right next to the Sweet Bay grocery, off Suncoast Blvd. and Yulee Drive, behind Burger King in a strip shopping center, you'll find a big building with a large Fuji sign. Just walk on in, you don't need reservations.
The first thing you'll notice when walking into Fuji is the lovely Japanese decor and the beautiful Koi pond in the middle of the dining area. Next, you'll notice the amazing service, and be sure to order the Japanese hot jasmine tea they offer in cute little cups, it's some of the best I've ever tasted.
After looking over the menu, and if you still can't find what to order, here's a few of my favorites:
sushi: kapamaki rolls (cucumber rolls), shrimp tempura rolls, the summer roll, or the Dynamite roll. The soups are all wonderful too. But everyone seems to rave about the walnut shrimp at Fuji, and yes, it is really good. But better yet, at every visit we are greeted at the table by the owner Charlie, who is so cordial and always with a big friendly smile. They also have a good deal of $13.95 for 3 rolls deal, but be sure to ask for his best dishes. As a definite sushi fan I can tell you this is the best place in Citrus County to eat sushi.
Fuji Asian Bistro also has awesome lunches. For lunch, many order the Bento boxes (like a sampler-platter with some sushi too).
Great prices and great food, and with this economy, it's nice being able to go out for dinner and get what I pay for (and then some).
Fuji also offers Thai, Chinese and Sushi, most dishes under $10

my wife loves Japanese restaurants-thanks for the idea. we do have a good amount of places closer to Tampa
