Over the years, mobile phones have went from being a luxury to a necessity for both young people and adults. Many things happen from day to day and having a mobile phone is a fast and efficient way of contact whether a situation is minor or in case of an emergency. Of course nothing is free of charge so these services do cost money. During these trying economic times getting tied down into a 1-2 year Mobile Phone Contract could be risky due to the decrease in job security and jobs for that matter. How can we save money on Mobile Phone Contracts? Easy we look for the Best Mobile Phone Contracts on the market and we compare. Surely there must be one out there that can save you a buck here and there! After doing my research, I found 5 of the Best No Contract Mobile Phone Plans. In my opinion, the best Mobile Phone Contract is no contract. Why is this? As I previously stated, economic times are rough and getting stuck for a year or two is not going to cut it for some people. Keep in mind all of these plans are no contract.

What are these 5 No Contract deals? I'll start with Verizon Wireless which I have number 5. There is a plan that they off at the price of $89.99. This plan comes with Unlimited Talk and Text and it is on Verizon's powerful 3G network. This plan is specifically for individuals. Verizon Wireless also offer data plans for an additional charge.

Next we have Virgin Mobile USA coming in 4th place. They have been around for a few years now and they have been coming along with the competition with Mobile Phone Contracts. Virgin Mobile USA offers a plan where you can get Unlimited Talk for $49.99 per month with the option of adding a messaging pack ($10.00 Unlimited Messaging or $5.00 for 1000 Messages per month.) They also offer data plans for an additional charge.

In third place we have AT&T with their new $60.00 Unlimited Talk and Text plan per month. (** Simple rate plan. Feature packages available for 30 days if account balance is not expired. Standard rates apply if feature package is not renewed after 30 days.) AT&T's network has a great reputation for their 3G service and they are in competition with Verizon Wireless on which service is better. Between the two, I'd go with AT&T. Check the price and I can say that from personal experience with these two phone companies.

In second place we have T-Mobile. They offer a new plan called Even more plus* which offers Unlimited Talk, Text & Web for a whopping $79.99 per month for individuals. They have good service on their 3G and Edge network so it'll be worth the try.

Coming in first place is the new kid on the block better known as Metro PCS. Their plans are straight to the point. They offer Unlimited Talk, Text and Web for the price of $40.00 with all taxes and fees included! This is according to your type of phone and the extra features they offer. The plans range from $40 - $60 (Blackberry specific plan) per month with all taxes and fees included! Hopefully among these 5 Best Mobile Phone Contracts you will find one that is right for you. Times are difficult and cutting costs while still holding on to the necessities such as mobile phones are important.

I have the T-Mobile plan. I had to buy the phones without a discount to avoid a contract. It's worth it though. I might not be staying with T-Mobile. Their coverage is not nearly as good as Verizon. I think I'll look into their no-contract plan you mentioned. Thanks!
