So, you shopped until you could shop no more. Your feet are tired. You have a headache. There is wrapping paper scattered through out your house. Now is the time to go online shopping for the best 2008 after-Christmas deals and bargains.

I know, crazy. But sometimes great deals can be had after Christmas. And this may be even more so this year, with the economy limiting people's shopping, and stores having to liquidate much of their Christmas stock.

So where do you look online to find the best deals? There are hundreds of sites, but here is 5 sites that are a great place to start:

1. Slickdeals.net - This site hosts forums and posting from thousands of readers, showing hot deals that are available both online and classic B&M ('Brick and Mortar') stores. People also rate the deals, which gives you a good idea of whether it is a ripoff or a real deal.

2. Amazon.com - I know, the king of online sales. But, they go through yearly clearance of stock. And right around New Years is the height of the clearance. Keep eyes on their Daily Deals and Gold Box Deals.

3. Dealnews.com - They have new deals posted constantly. Additionally, excellent list of coupons that can be used at numerous sites; make sure to look to see if coupons are available. You will be amazed how much you can save by discounts you never knew of.

4. Dealhack.com - Another site that posts regularly, somewhat random items.

5. Become.com - Looking for something particular? Look up the item on this site, and they give you an excellent breakdown of the best prices.

Happy hunting!

    DON'T FORGET THE LITTLE GUYS!
After you hit all the sales at the big box stores don't forget the "little guys". Small businesses are struggling to stay afloat. Be sure to learn about the 3/50 project then check http://www.twincitiescheap.com for discounts from your local stores.
