Many college students are not aware that there are plenty of online tutoring services you can use to help you complete your homework. Some will make you pay a little bit of money and others are completely free. These tutoring services provide help with all kinds of subjects from people who really know what they are talking about. However, keep in mind that not all online tutoring services are created equal. There are some that claim to be really helpful and then you end up worse than you started. Here are some services that you can use that will actually be beneficial to you.
Student of Fortune: Anyone can sign up for Student of Fortune. This service is designed to help students in any subject complete their homework or write their papers. There are few steps you will need to take in order to post your question. First, you need to write a very detailed description of your question and exactly what kind of information you are looking for. Be very precise. Then, you put how much you are willing to pay for a tutorial. This can be 50 cents or 100 dollars, whatever you are willing to pay. Other users will then look at your question, and if they want to answer, they will write up a tutorial for you. They will then post it underneath your question with the price they want you to pay. Most of the time, this price is less than what you said you were willing to pay because they are competing with other users for your money. You will likely receive more than one tutorial and you will be able to view a sample of each. Then, you simply pick which tutorial you would like to purchase.
There are a few other programs online that you can choose from. Tutorzilla is another popular one. They have certified tutors that are available to help you twenty four hours a day and seven days a week. You have to pay for this service, however your first session is free. So if you really just need a quick explanation on how to do a math problem and you don't want to pay any money, then you should probably use this one. Rather than having any user answer your questions, you will receive expert help from someone who is specifically hired to help students in that subject. Tutor.com is a similar service where professional tutors spend as much time with you as you need to get all your questions answered.
You could always go to your professor's office hours or see your TA to get help, but they won't be around when you are pulling an all-nighter to get your homework done. These online tutoring services are there for you when you need them; regardless of how late it is or how much time you need to spend on your homework. You may need to pay a little money, but it will be worth it when you receive that A at the end of the semester!
