Best Phones Revealed At Mobile World Congress 2010

The Mobile World Congress 2010 has given the consumer of preview of what to expect in the coming months from cell phone providers from around the world. Barcelona has been buzzing with the latest gadgets and gear that will meet your cell phone needs. Check out these top ten phones unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2010.

1. Windows Phone 7. The biggest unveiling at the Mobile World Congress 2010 without a doubt has to be the Windows Phone 7. Windows operating systems have been being used across multiple platforms for years, and Windows has remained out of the phone industry preferring instead to be a software provider. Times have changed, and now Windows is unveiling a new phone. Windows has one last chance to get it right, and all indications are the Windows Phone 7 will be the cream of the Mobile World Congress 2010 crop.

2. Motorola Zeppelin (XT800). The Moto XT800 will run on the Google Android OS and be a sure fire hit coming out of the Mobile World Congress 2010. Specs on this beautiful phone show a 5mp camera, 3.2 inch display, GPS, and the MotoBlur interface. The XT800 will be available in China and eventually in the US, though a specific date is not known.

3. Samsung B3410W. The Samsung Ch@t is an updated version of the Samsung Corby Plus. This phone features a 2.6 LCD screen, multiple source audio formats, 2.6 mp camera, and the Touchwhiz 2.0 interface. An impressive 3 hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby make this phone an up and coming challenger in the cell phone market. Pricing and carriers are yet to be determined.

4. Samsung Wave. The Samsung Wave was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2010 with a new operating system. With its 3.3 inch AMOLED screen the Wave features the newest Bada operating system, which is supposed to allow Samsung to take the next step up in high feature operating systems. According to Samsung, Bada will revolutionize the App industry by allowing almost anyone to make Apps available to the consumer. Pricing and carriers are yet to be determined, but look for the phone to be available in April 2010.

5. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini. Sony Ericsson unveiled many new phones at Mobile World Congress 2010, and the Xperia X10 Mini is the most prominent of its offerings. The X10 mini boasts a 2.5 inch display, which is considerably smaller than its big brother that measures 4 inches. The X10 mini will run the Android operating system version 1.6 and has a 5 mp camera, WiFi and GPS. Look for carriers like Verizon to jump all over this phone, and prices are yet to be unveiled.

6. Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro. The Vivaz Pro will be running the Symbian Series 60 operating system. No word yet on carriers or prices but the Vivaz Pro will be impressive with its 4 mp pixel camera, GPS, Wifi capabilities, and more.

7. HTC Magic. Vodafone and HTC have combined to push the Magic into the market at the Mobile World Congress 2010. The Android powered phone will be beautifully compact and sport a 3.5 inch QVGA touch screen. The magic will support Google applications such as Google Maps, Google Search and allow Youtube. The Magic will originally be available in Italy, France, and various European markets and a US unveiling is yet to be determined.

8. HTC Photon. HTC continues its impressive line of unveilings at the MWC 2010 with the Photon. Look for the Photon to include a whopping 512 mb of internal memory, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a business card scanner. Prices are yet to be disclosed.

9. Adobe Air. The Adobe Air is a platform unveiled at MWC that will allow users to produce content rich applications. Applications are changing the market and will drive the future of the cell phone market. Adobe air fills a need for mobile phone users to produce their apps.

10. FONERA Simple. Though not a phone, Fonera will be unveiling a device that will make the web more accessible for us all with its Simple format. This device will feature 801.11 access for your 3G mobile cell phones. This device will be used to take the pressure off of most cell carriers 3G networks.
