I've eaten at all the following restaurants and enjoyed several fresh hot meals at each one of them. I wouldn't recommend a place that has only been around a short time. These pizza places have been in business a long time, at least 10 years or more. One of them called Bocce's, has been going since 1946. They have two locations. The surrounding neighborhoods of these pizza restaurants are safe. You can take your family there and you don't even have to carry a baseball bat around everywhere.
I recommend the following pizza restaurants located in the Buffalo,New York area for fresh, hot, affordable and delicious meals:
Bocce Club
Located at 4174 N. Bailey Ave. between Sheridan Drive and Main Street. Also, located at 1614 Hopkins Road near Dodge Road. They have been in business since 1946 and have a great menu with great food. The pizza is tasty and the chicken fingers are huge. I like them soaked in barbecue sauce. They have takeout and delivery and do not offer a dining area to sit and eat.
Franco's Pizza
Located in Amherst, Tonawanda, Wheatfield and Buffalo. Franco's has probably the most locations around the area. They first opened in 1979. They have daily lunch specials and they deliver. Only some locations offer a place to sit and dine. Every time I've eaten their food it has been very fresh. The pizza has always been tasty and made with fresh thick dough. They offer probably one of the largest selections as far as menu items. Ask about their combos and specials.
Santora's Phase 2
Located at 1402 Millersport Highway and 600 Delaware Street. Santora's has one of the nicest dining areas I've seen for a pizza place. You can take your family or a friend and enjoy your pizza or menu item and eat there. They have all you can eat specials 11am-2pm. They also deliver and the bigger location is right next to the popular Marriott hotel which is the Millersport location. There is a bar and dining area along with flat screen televisions for your entertainment.
